The Main Site Delivery phase brings together numerous contractors and suppliers responsible for complex, large‑scale construction works. At this stage of the programme, effective coordination and reliable reporting are critical to maintaining budget control and ensuring timely delivery.

Previously, Sizewell C lacked a consistent and transparent way to view data across suppliers, making it difficult to identify gaps, validate information and maintain alignment across the supply chain.

Smartsheet now provides a single location where internal teams and suppliers can access, review and validate information — eliminating multiple spreadsheet versions and disconnected updates.

The new reporting framework brings a high level of consistency across the supplier base while still allowing flexibility for specific or ad‑hoc requirements. This balance ensures the data remains fit for purpose and aligned with programme management needs.

Combined with downstream monthly reporting in Power BI, Sizewell C now has far greater confidence in the data used to support decision‑making.
